WWE viewers could see big changes on the flagship show, Raw, pending the completion of a major deal. According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, discussions are underway to introduce unspecified changes to the red brand.

However, the timing of these changes hinges on the completion of WWE's merger with UFC and the acquisition by the Endeavor group. Dave Meltzer reports that the ongoing delay in finalizing the merger has been the primary factor preventing the implementation of these changes. However, once the merger is complete, there is talk of exploring fresh ideas and introducing major changes to Raw.

"We were told the merger not being finalized is holding up major changes happening but there is talk of at least exploring major changes for Raw with new ideas when the merger takes place."

While the exact timeline for Endeavor's acquisition of WWE and subsequent merger with UFC remains uncertain, both companies are targeting a completion date in late 2023. As for the nature of the proposed changes, no specific details have been revealed.

According to a recent report, there have been no discussions of cutting superstars as part of the Endeavor deal. This indicates that the release of talent has not been considered, suggesting that changes to the roster may not be made if this idea remains in place. However, it had been reported that as part of the “synchronization” process between WWE and UFC, cuts would be made to both the companies.

WWE CEO Nick Khan had assured that any cuts that happen due to this synchronization will not cause changes to the on-screen product. It remains to be seen how much of that will hold true, and what changes will really be made to Raw as part of this new report.
