With Money in the Bank now in the rearview mirror, WWE now pivots their attention to their hottest show of the summer, SummerSlam. This year's premium live event emanates from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan, taking place on Saturday, August 5th.

As of now, no matches have been announced by WWE, but a new report suggests that WWE has already begun discussing some match ideas. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, six contests are currently being planned for SummerSlam, including a marquee match between Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and the man who pinned him at Money in the Bank --Jey Uso.

The seeds for Roman vs. Jey were planted upon Jey's decision to leave The Bloodline and side with his twin brother, Jimmy Uso. Tensions were then elevated when The Usos entered into a Bloodline Civil War against "The Tribal Chief" and Solo Sikoa at Money in the Bank. That match, of course, ended with a shocking twist as Jey Uso became the first competitor in 3.5 years to pin Roman Reigns. With this new report, it appears that WWE will continue to build off of that rivalry, and lead into a singles match at SummerSlam.

In addition to Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso, Meltzer reports that Cody Rhodes and.Brock Lesnar will meet again for their third singles match of the year. Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch are also currently penciled in for a Night of Champions rematch.

Following Shanya Baszler's betrayal at Money in the Bank, she will reportedly face her now former tag team partner, Ronda Rousey, one-on-one at SummerSlam.

Elsewhere on the card, two other enticing possibilities have emerged, including a triple threat match between Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, and WWE Women's Champion Asuka. Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER vs Drew McIntyre is also reportedly in the works.

While no opponent has been revealed for him yet, Meltzer noted that Logan Paul is also expected to wrestle in an "in-ring showcase" at SummerSlam.
