Pretty Deadly's Elton Prince will be out of action for the time being after suffering an injury during this week's episode of SmackDown.

Prince, alongside Pretty Deadly ally Kit Wilson, were called up from WWE NXT to SmackDown as part of this year's WWE Draft. The pair are former NXT UK Tag Team Champions and two-time NXT Tag Team Champions. Since joining SmackDown, the pair have feuded with the Brawling Brutes and have (unsuccessfully) challenged Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.

On this week's SmackDown, Prince and Wilson picked up a win over Sheamus and Ridge Holland of the Brawling Brutes. After this week's episode of the Blue brand, Prince was seen wearing a sling on his arm, according to PW Insider. Several sources are saying that Prince is dealing with a separated shoulder and at this time, there is no word on how long he’ll be out of action.

This is unfortunately not the first match featuring Ridge Holland that has seen an opponent suffer an injury. On Twitter, Holland got ahead of those already blaming him, explaining that it wasn't the belly-to-belly suplex he delivered on SmackDown that was to blame. Holland added that a "wonky landing from a pounce" which was nothing to do with him, caused Prince's injury, and he's wishing Prince a speedy recovery.
