WWE SummerSlam 2023 Vlog: Jey Uso's Son Picks Roman Reigns To Win Tribal Combat



Jey Uso is preparing for the biggest match of his life at WWE SummerSlam when he faces Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in Tribal Combat.

As Jey makes his final packing preparations, he was greeted by his son Jeyce.

Jey asked Jeyce who he thought was going to win Tribal Combat, and Jeyce acknowledged his Tribal Chief.

"At this point, I pick Uncle Joe [Roman Reigns]," said Jeyce before being grabbed by his father. "You lost the last time."

Jeyce quickly changed his mind once his father has him in a head hold. Jeyce was eventually told to go away.

While Roman is 2-0 against Jey in singles matches, Jey did pin Roman at WWE Money in the Bank in the Bloodline Civil War. It was the first time Roman had been pinned since December 2019.

- Vince McMahon is not scheduled to attend tonight's Summerslam. Even despite his recent surgery, there were some in the company that expected him to show up, which sounds insane.

- There is no Kickoff Match scheduled for tonight.

- Maryse, who is not normally on the road for WWE, has been spotted in Detroit ahead of tonight's WWE Summerslam event at Ford Field.

- Spotted backstage at WWE Summerslam have been Gabe Sapolsky, MVP and Tommaso Ciampa.

- Internally, there are no segments listed beyond the match lineup

- We are told Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso has been alloted the most time tonight of everything scheduled on the show.

- Cody vs. Brock Lesnar is slated to go on second on tonight's Summerslam PPV, following Ricochet vs. Logan Paul, PWInsider has confirmed.
