Fans in Indianapolis, Indiana who attend Fastlane 2023 hoping to see Roman Reigns in action should prepare to be dissapointed.

WWE Fastlane 2023 will take place on October 7, 2023, at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, and will be WWE's seventh event under the Fastlane name. The show will also be the first Fastlane Premium Live Event since 2021, and the first PLE in the city of Indianapolis since Clash of Champions in September 2016.

While the show will feature a stacked card, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will seemingly not be a part of the show. The Head of the Table is nowhere to be seen on the promotional poster for the show, which includes Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Bianca Belair, World Heavyweight Champion Seth 'Freakin' Rollins, Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley, Bobby Lashley, Women's Universal Champion Asuka, and Becky Lynch.

Roman Reigns has competed at five of the sixth WWE Premium Live Events this year, with the only exception being the Backlash event in May. Reigns' next match is expected to come next month at Summerslam, where it is believed he will defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Jey Uso.

Uso laid out the challenge to Reigns during an episode of SmackDown earlier this month, after Reigns and Solo Sikoa had attacked Jimmy Uso. Reigns will be on this week's episode of WWE SmackDown, in which he and Jey will set the 'Rules of Engagement.'

WWE Summerslam will take place on August 5, from Ford Field, in Detroit, Michigan.
