Kiyomiya pins Owens after a Shining Wizard.

2 - Great O-Khan vs. KENTA

3 - Hikuleo vs. Gabe Kidd

Kidd sneak attacks Hikuleo on the way to the ring and they throw each other into the crowd. Kidd hits chairshots to the head. Ugh. They spend close to 8 minutes on the floor until the make it back to the ring and the referee rings the bell.

Hikuleo fights back, but Kidd hits a piledriver.

Kidd pins Hikuleo.

Crowd gasped in shock over the win, expecting the bigger Hikuleo to kick out. This could be the start of Kidd being taken seriously as a singles competitor.

New Japan: Please stop with the chair shots to the head. They are not metal chairs but have enough metal in them to do damage especially over the course of the G1 Climax. Also, if the Bullet Club War Dogs are going to do this to make them look like heels, they could be causing injuries that could lead to permanent damage later down the line.

4 - Taichi vs. Tanga Loa

Taichi reversed out of Apeshit and rolled Tanga Loa into the Gedo Clutch.

Taichi pins Tanga Loa

5 - Ren Narita vs. Yota Tsuji

Tsuji went for a top suicida, hit Narita and went gut first into the ring guardrail. He was moving like a bullet train. Wow. Tsuji got up with out a scratch. Both men got in a lot of their own offense.

They wrestled to a time limit draw. Both men looked exhausted and got an applause from the crowd.

Between Shota Umino, Ren Narita and Yota Tsuji, I can see them all having draws against each other, yet taking losses from veterans. They keep these three strong against each other and all on an equal level.

6 - YOSHI-HASHI vs. Will Ospreay

Good match. Both men laid in the stiff shots.

Ospreay pinned YOSHI-HASHI after a flipping senton splash.

7 - SANADA vs. Shota Umino

SANADA pins Umino after a Dead Fall DDT.

8 - Kazuchika Okada vs. El Phantasmo

Big pops for both Okada and ELP. Lots of cheers for ELP. Good competitive match. ELP hit Sudden Death and CR2. Okada kicks out at 2.9. ELP goes for the Thunderkiss 86, but Okada rolls out of the ring. There are some boos in the crowd for Okada. They trade reversals on their finishers. Okada hits a Landslide and a Rainmaker.

Okada pins ELP.

Okada takes the mic, thanks the crowd and viewers watching. He will continue to make it rain.
