B3CCA vs Billie Starkz

B3CCA offers her hand and Billie shakes it. They lock up and Billie with a waist lock and B3CCA with a standing switch. Billie with a wrist lock and B3CCA with a reversal. Billie with a reversal and she works on the arm with an arm bar. B3CCA with a springboard arm drag to escape. B3CCA tries for a springboard move but Billie blocks it. Billie with a waist lock and an O’Connor Roll for a near fall. B3CCA is sent to the floor and Billie with a suicide dive.

Billie goes up top and leaps over B3CCA and Billie’s knee gives out. B3CCA with a running boot for a near fall.

We go to commercial.

We are back and B3CCA with an Irish whip but she misses a splash. Billie with forearms and B3CCA with a back elbow. B3CCA with a boot in the corner and a snap mare. B3CCA goes to the turnbuckles and hits a missile drop kick for a near fall. B3CCA with a single leg crab. Billie gets to the ropes and B3CCA releases the hold. B3CCA gets Billie up but Billie with elbows. B3CCA with a kick and forearm.

Billie with a punch and she tries for a suplex but B3CCA blocks it. They exchange forearms. B3CCA with a super kick but she misses an enzuigiri. Both women with clotheslines at the same time and both go down. B3CCA runs into an elbow and boot. Billie with a springboard kick and a face buster and back heel kick. Billie with a German suplex for a near fall. Billie goes to the turnbuckles and B3CCA with a handstandcanrana followed by a TKO for a near fall.

B3CCA with an Irish whip and a Yakuza kick in the corner. B3CCA puts Billie on the turnbuckles and sets for a superplex but Billie blocks it and sends B3CCA to the mat. Billie blocks a handstandcanrana attempt and Billie with a swanton for the three count.

After the match:
Billie starts to make her way to the back but she is handed a present from a Calling henchman. She takes it and looks in the box and there are brains.


The next pick in the MLW Open Draft is Love Doug. We are told that Love Doug is the fan who approached B3CCA at Never Say Never.

Sam Leterna is with Love Doug

She asks him about what he did during B3CCA’s performance.

Doug says he is in love. Her voice is like angels singing. Her hair is like liquid gold. Maybe if Cupid’s arrow finds her heart.

We go to MSL who is ambushed by Sam Leterna. She asks him how can he sleep at night with what he did to MicroMan.

He says he sleeps well. He mentions that Davey Boy Smith will win tonight. He says he hopes he never sees MicroMan again.

MicroMan attacks MSL and then Mance Warner stops MSL and he punches MSL.

Mance says that MicroMan is SGC.

We are back with comments from Calvin Tankman.

He says he has been waiting for this opportunity for a year. He got screwed over. This time he will be face to face with Davey Boy Smith Jr. He says he knows that Davey has been in the business for his entire life and he knows what Davey has done. Calvin says he wants to see if Davey has that dog in him too. He says he will win the Opera Cup by any means.

We take a look at what happened between Willie Mack and Alex Kane after Never Say Never’s title match.

Alex Kane congratulates Willie Mack on becoming the new number one contender. Alex says Willie is not becoming of a title contender. Alex wonders what a Willie Mack fight camp will be. Mr. Thomas mentions all of the fast food places that Willie will go to train. Alex says Willie won’t be in shape, but a shape.

Alex says Willie got turned away because he is not worthy to be part of BOMAYE Fight Club. You might not be for the people, you are definitely for the buffet. After I beat your ass, it will be on BOMAYE. Alex says BOMAYE many times.

2023 Opera Cup First Round Match
Davey Boy Smith Jr. vs Calvin Tankman

They lock up and Tankman gets a leg and backs Davey into the corner. Calvin with a clean break. They lock up and Davey with a side head lock. Davey goes for a shoulder tackle but he bounces off Calvin. Davey with a wrist lock and he works on the hand as well. Calvin gets to the corner and Davey with a clean break. They lock up and Davey with a double wrist lock. Calvin with punches in the corner. Davey with an Irish whip and he misses a boot in the corner. Calvin clips the other knee and they fight to the floor. Calvin chops Davey on the ramp and then he gives Davey an atomic drop onto the ramp.

Davey kicks Calvin but Calvin punches Davey and connects with elbows to the leg. Calvin wrings the leg into the ring post. Calvin wrings the leg a second time. Calvin stomps on the injured leg. Davey with punches and Calvin with knees. Calvin gets a near fall.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Calvin with a forearm. Calvin works on the leg and Davey with kicks to escape. Davey with a heel hook and Calvin gets to the ropes to force Davey to release the hold. Calvin with a clothesline for a near fall. Calvin with forearms and Davey with punches. They go back and forth. Davey with a head butt to the midsection but Calvin with a forearm. Davey with forearms. Calvin with a forearm abut he misses a back fist. Davey with an enzuigiri.

Davey with a side Russian leg sweep and Davey goes to the turnbuckles. Calvin with a palm thrust to stop him and a press slam. Calvin goes to the turnbuckles but Davey with a power slam for a near fall. Davey with a series of leg drops and then he goes to the turnbuckles and hits a diving head butt to the back. Davey goes up top and hits a leg drop to the back but he can only get a near fall. Davey with a crossface but Calvin gets Davey up. Davey with elbows to escape. Calvin with a pop up back fist and a back fist to the back of the head.

Davey blocks a Tankman Driver and Davey applies a crossface and Calvin taps out.

Winner: Davey Boy Smith Jr. (advances to Finals)
