Are there cracks within Imperium? Recent events certainly seem to suggest so.

On the July 10 episode of WWE Raw, Matt Riddle and Drew McIntyre teamed up to take on Imperium's Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci, while Intercontinental Champion Gunther lingered at ringside. Despite the sneaky interference from Gunther, McIntyre and Riddle managed to bounce back with a victory.

After McIntyre nailed Vinci with a Claymore, Riddle isolated Kaiser with an ankle lock, allowing McIntyre to then score the pinfall on Vinci. Following Imperium's loss, Kaiser and Gunther promptly retreated to the back, leaving Vinci to stand alone on the entrance ramp. This move caused some fans to begin questioning the security of Giovanni Vinci's placement in Imperium.

During an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, Gunther was asked to address Vinci's status with the Imperium stable. The Austrian Superstar said, "Well, that's to be determined, I guess."

He said Imperium is the absolute elite of professional wrestling and if you fail to deliver that, there are consequences. Gunther added that it's nothing personal or emotional. It's all about results, wins and losses - and only the best are welcom.

While Vinci's standing with Imperium remains uncertain, Gunther will turn his focus back to "The Scott Warrior" Drew McIntyre, whom he is set to meet face-to-face on tonight's on WWE Raw.
