Rhea Ripley and newly crowned North American Champion, Dominik Mysterio, will kick off NXT television this week. WWE announced the news on social media early in the afternoon on Monday morning.

Last week on NXT and with the help of Rhea Ripley and The Judgement Day, Dominik Mysterio defeated Wes Lee to win the North American Championship. It is Dominik's first championship win in WWE.

The Judgement day opened this week's episode of Monday Night Raw to celebrate Mysterio's victory and title win last week. Mysterio gloated about the win, but was then confronted by Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.

Zayn challenged Dominik to a match on the show and then suggested that he put his title on the line. Ripley accepted the challenge on Mysterio's behalf.

During the match, The Judgement Day attacked Kevin Owens, which distracted Zayn and cost him the match.

Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio aren't the only main roster talents that have appeared on NXT recently.

Baron Corbin has been a featured act on the show and wrestled Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship in a losing effort. More prominently, WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, wrestled and defeated former NXT Champion, Bron Breakker, on a special edition of the program.
