The New Day member Xavier Woods recently stated that the faction could be back to WWE TV soon.

The New Day comprising Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods has been one of the most amusing factions of all time. The members have been 12-time Tag-Team Champions and fans love them. However, recent years have been full of ups and downs as the faction has experienced injury concerns.

Woods remains to be the member who is not injured as Big E has been out of action indefinitely with a career-threatening neck injury and Kingston is recuperating from an ankle injury.

Speaking to Z100's Josh Martinez on Superstar Crossover, Woods noted that The New Day has been off the programming for months. He revealed that every member is busy with projects outside the ring but they will be back soon. He said:

"So we haven't been on TV in a minute, what, like, a month, two months? The thing that people don't see is all the stuff that we do outside of the ring. So we have been working relentlessly on so many other things. So we'll be back in due time, we'll be back in due time."

He added:

"If you look at wrestling, the landscape has changed. I love when it changes because it comes at a slow pace, and then all of a sudden, you see all these faces are faces that have only been there for like six months, or a year, or a year-and-a-half. That's what's kind of happening right now. So many people are filtering in. So, as people filter in and they get established, and the crowd gets to know who they are, then all of a sudden, New Day *claps* we back on the attack."

With Big E and Kofi Kingston sidelined Xavier Woods has been competing as a singles star. However, Woods hasn't competed inside the squared circle since the May 15 episode of Monday Night Raw where he lost to Dominik Mysterio.

We will now have to wait and see when The New Day makes a return to the programming.
