2 - YOSHI-HASHI vs. Taichi

3 - Kaito Kiyomiya vs. Gabe Kidd

Kidd attacks Kiyomiya on his way to the ring. Good heel work by Kidd, mocking Kiyomiya, as the crowd booed him loudly.

They battle to the outside again. Both men are counted out and the match is a Draw.

Both men continue to fight into the crowd. Kidd grabs the mic and says "F**k you, and f**k Pro Wrestling NOAH". Kiyomiya attacks Kidd and they continue to fight. Officials and young lions struggle to break them apart. They take Kiyomiya out. Kidd stands in the ring and flips off Kiyomiya. The crowd chants Kidd's name and he flips them off too.

Gabe Kidd has been making enemies from his reckless behavior, including Katsuyori Shibata, Kiyomiya and now possibly all of NOAH. We shall see where this goes.

4 - Tanga Loa vs. Great O-Khan

Tanga Loa pins O-Khan after hitting Apeshit.

5 - Hikuleo vs. Yota Tsuji

Interesting match between two young big wrestlers in the G1. Solid match. Both wrestlers fought hard and beat each other like crazy. Nice final sequence with Tsuji going for a spear and Hikuleo kicking him in the face. Hikuleo goes for a Chokeslam but Tsuji reverses out and tries for another spear. Hikuleo catches him in a snap powerslam then hits a big Chokeslam.

Hikuleo pins Tsuji

Tsuji has been very versatile, by wrestling with the different styles in his Block. He is the future of New Japan.

6 - El Phantasmo vs. KENTA

Wild match with fights into the crowd and tables. ELP got busted open. KENTA goes for Go To Sleep but ELP counters into a small package.

7 - SANADA vs. Ren Narita

SANADA hits Dead Fall on Narita and gets the pin.

SANADA is the first to 10 points, 5 straight wins and undefeated. Kiyomiya and Umino follow with 6 points each.

8 - Kazuchika Okada vs. Will Ospreay

Really good match. 20 minute time limit was a factor but they packed a lot in. Lots of cheers for Ospreay over Okada.

Ospreay hits a ripcord Hidden Blade then a Stormbreaker.

Ospreay pins Okada

Will Ospreay gets 8 points and in a tie with Okada. Ospreay will still hold the tiebreaker win over Okada. Unless Ospreay loses his next two matches, Ospreay will be the lead in the B Block, with Okada at best in 2nd place.

After the match, Ospreay thanked Okada. He thanked Ota City for being in his corner. He says he loves the G1 season. He says it is a new era in New Japan. He brought up the "3 Musketeers" in Tsuji, Umino and Narita. He tells everyone those three men don't want the responsibility of living up to the legacy of Shinsuke Nakamura, Katsuyori Shibata, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Masa Chono, and Keiji Mutoh. You don't need 3 Musketeers. You need ONE ASSASIN!

He says the G1 is for the the best of the best. He asks the crowd who is the best. Crowd chants his name. He says he will win the G1 Climax because he is on another level.

Will Ospreay was in babyface mode, with no United Empire at ringside. United Empire have been heelish in the past. Where does the group go from here?
