Former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley debuted for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) on Sunday night's PWG TWENTY: Mystery Vortex event in Los Angeles.

Mox had been one of the biggest names in the indies. Making his debut in 2004, he competed in a handful of indie promotions such as Heartland Wrestling Association (HWA), Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw), Full Impact Pro (FIP), Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), and Dragon Gate USA (DGUSA) before making it big in WWE and eventually AEW.

Jon Moxley, who has been a massive star in the indies, made his PWG debut on the monumental occasion of the 20th-anniversary show. The Blackpool Combat Club leader faced Titus Alexander and secured a convincing victory.





In the Mystery Vortex main event, another AEW star who is PWG World Champion, Daniel Garcia defeated Speedball Mike Bailey in a 60-minute iron man match. He won four falls to three in sudden death overtime after the end of the stipulated 60 minutes time limit. Other AEW stars such as Konosuke Takeshita, Roderick Strong, Evil Uno, and Rey Fenix were also featured on the show.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, October 28, OTT wrestling will be celebrating its ninth anniversary with Jon Moxley also scheduled to feature on the show at the National Stadium in Dublin. The night before, Moxely will face former NXT UK Superstar Trent Seven in Wolverhampton, England.

Jon Moxley was earlier scheduled to appear for OTT in February 2020. However, the company's ScrapperMania 6 event was called off due to the pandemic.

Earlier this year, Moxley had to once against cancel his appearance at this year’s ScrapperMania due to the date clashing with AEW House Rules. Now for the third time, he's been scheduled to make his presence felt at the show.
