New Japan Pro Wrestling is heading back to the UK.

On the heels of their annual G1 Climax 33 tournament that wrapped up on Sunday, the company announced that they would return to the United Kingdom for Royal Quest 3. The event will take place on Saturday October 14 from the Copper Box Arena.
NJPW G1 Climax 33 winner announced for the event

While official matches have not been announced for the show at this time, IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, SANADA, and this year's G1 winner, Tetsuya Naito, have been booked for the show. There is no word on who their opponents will be at this time.

Naito won the G1 Climax 33 tournament after defeating Kazuchika Okada in the tournament final on Sunday. Naito clinched his spot in the elimination tournament on the last night of block action by beating Hiroshi Tanahashi. In the quarterfinals, Naito defeated Hikuleo before knocking out Will Ospreay in the semis on his way to the finals. Naito previously won the G1 tournament in 2013 and 2017.

The first Royal Quest took place in 2019. In the main event of that show, Okada defeated Minoru Suzuki to retain his IWGP Heavyweight Championship. The company took three years off from the show due to COVID-19 restrictions, but returned in 2022. At that event, Aussie Open wrestled FTR for the IWGP Tag Team Championship, Naito faced Zack Sabre Jr. and Will Ospreay wrestled Shota Umino.

Pre-sale tickets for this year's event go on-sale on August 29.
