Former WWE stars Matt Cardona (formerly Zack Ryder) and Steph De Lander (Persia Pirotta) arrived in great fashion at GCW Homecoming.

Cardona is currently one of the hottest stars of Independent wrestling. Cardona recently made his way to the ring dressed as The Undertaker while Steph De Lander was seen holding an urn. He has once again grabbed the headlines for another amazing entrance.

The former WWE stars recently pulled off an amazing Ghostbusters-style entrance during GCW event where they faced Nick Gage and Maki Itoh.

Cardona and De Lander took inspiration from their recent "Deathmatch Busters" shirts, with Maki Itoh & Nick Gage showing the Ghostbusters logo style. The pair arrived in a car designed similar to the Ectomobile as the lights flashed. They also sported jumpsuits similar to the Ghostbusters uniform. They finished off the spectacular entrance with the Ghostbusters theme song. Notably, they even had a custom logo done and declared themselves the Deathmatch Busters.

Cardona and De Lander were busted open by Maki Death Kill during the match. Deathmatch Royalty suffered multiple cuts with the pizza cutter and would leave the match being a bloody mess, having glass in the back of their jumpsuits after having suffered a loss at the hands of Gage and Itoh.

Previously, Cardona managed to beat Gage in a Death Match at GCW Homecoming 2021 to win the GCW World Championship. He became The Deathmatch King and started what's considered a memorable run on the indie circuit.

However, Gage avenged the loss by crashing the ceremony where Cardona and Chelsea Green renewed their vows at GCW Homecoming last year. Gage also sliced Cardona with a pizza cutter, and Green's face was smashed into cake.
