With all the talk of how the major promotions book their women's division, there are some indie companies who are prominently showcasing women.

One company is midwest-based Wrestling Revolver, which is owned by wrestler Sami Callihan. The promotion started in 2016 and has the motto of "Wrestling for OUR generation, by OUR generation." The promotion features indie talent along with signed wrestlers from IMPACT and AEW. Women such as Billie Starkz, Allie Katch, Blair Onyx Marina Shafir, and JesSICKa compete regularly for the company.

Jon Moxley frequents Wrestling Revolver when his schedule allows. He was scheduled to wrestle Gringo Loco a few weeks ago, but was pulled due to the Parking Lot Fight II on Rampage. In his place, AEW sent Konosuke Takeshita. Moxley is scheduled to make up for it on Saturday, September 2.

Wrestling Revolver recently announced an all-women's tournament, the Revolver Women's Grand Prix. Renee Paquette has been announced as the Special Ambassador.

Eight entrants have been announced:

- Billie Starkz

- Marina Shafir

- VertVixen

- Trish Adora

- Allysin Kay

- Janai Kai

- Rachel Armstrong

- Emi Sakura

In non-tournament action, fans will see the long awaited reunion of "The Killer Death Machines" JesSICKa Havok and Neaveh.

Killer Kelly will also be appearing in non-tournament action.

It is unclear what the winner of the Grand Prix receives. It's possible that it will be a women's title, something Wrestling Revolver currently doesn't have.

The Grand Prix show is the first show of a double bill on October 8. The shows will be at the Calumet Center in Dayton, OH. The Women's Grand Prix begins at 3 PM ET and Revolver Redemption starts at 8 PM ET. Both shows will air on FITE+.
