    Angry AEW Dynamite Live Coverage - August 30th, 2023




    Taz, Excalibur and Tony Schiavone are your hosts for the evening. It's the go home show for AEW all Out.

    We see highlights from All In in London last Sunday.


    Jon Moxley vs Komander (w/Alex Abrahantes)

    Boot to the face by Moxley, followed by a chop and a whip into the buckle. Moxley steps on Komanders neck. Chops and punches by Moxley, kick by Komander into a fluing forearm and a hurancanrana. Moxley bails and Komander nails a high cross body to the floor. Back in the ring, Moxley nails elbows and a back rake. Komander punches back and misses a corkscrew moonsault. Clothesline by Moxley as we go to commercial.

    We're back and it's Moxley with a front chancery. Komander eats a head butt. Powerbomb by Moxley but it's a counter into a face buster. They trade strikes. Double chop by Komander. Roundhouse kick and a dropkick to the knee by Komander followed by a high dropkick. Lungblower by Komander for 2. Komander to the top, he eats Moxleys knees off of a 450 attempt. Lariat and piledriver for 2 by Moxley. Hammer elbows into a choke by Moxley. Armbar by Moxley and Komander has to tap

    We hear from Orange Cassidy ahead of his title defense tonight.

    We hear from The Young Bucks after losing at All Out. FTR came in and want to know what was the deal with the disrespect after their match. Bullet Club Gold show up and make fun of the Bucks. FTR defend them. Looks like we have an 8 man at All Out.

    We see highlights of the Outcasts issues at All In, including Saraya winning the AEW Women's Championship

    Renee Paquette is with Toni Storm, complete with hair curlers. She can't trust anyone and storms off.

    Here comes Chris Jericho to address the NOW Arena. He puts over All In as the biggest show ever. He'd like to forget how he treated Sammy Guevara and asks Sammy to come out. Jericho seems apologetic. He formally apologizes. Sammy hesitates but they shake hands. They hug. Jericho sublty blames Sammy for not hitting Osprey harder with the baseball bat. I don't think this'll end well for Le Sex Gods.

    Sammy blames himself for being too concerned with Jericho's well being. They're verbally jabbing each other now. $5 says they're meeting at All Out. Jericho wants to get back to what they do best. He wants Le Sex Gods back together to win the AEW Tag Team Championship. They hug.

    I was only kidding about the $5 bet.

    We hear from the Blackpool Combat Club.


    NJPW Strong Championship
    Eddie Kingston (c) vs Wheeler Yuta


    Lockup, they jockey for position. Slap by Yuta, chop by Moxley and a 2nd rope uranage by Yuta. Chops by Yuta and an arm wrench. Big arm takedown by Yuta for 1 as we go to commercial.

    We are back and it's Yuta attempting a monkey flip but Eddie punches him to the floor and hits a tope before sending Yuta back in. Rapid chops by Eddie into an exploder for 2. Yuta blocks a backfist and hits a German for 2. Splash by Yuta, he eats knees.

    Saito suplex for 2 by Kingston. Kicks by Yuta. Elbows by Yuta to the injured arm. Eddie fores up. DRagon suplex by the champion. Headbutt and backfist by Kingston and he scores the pin.

    Winner: Eddie Kingston (Retains championship)

    After the match:
    Claudio Castagnoli helps Yuta to the back.


    We see highlights of MJF and Adam Cole from Sunday, followed by comments from champion and challenger. Cole and MJF and defend the ROH titles at All Out against the winners of a Rampage Battle Royal.

    Renee is with Sammy Guevara. Don Callis interrupts and asks him if it's tough being Jericho's friend. Sammy cuts him off and tell him to get lost.

    Adam Cole comes out. It's story time. He thanks the fans who watched All In. He promises he and MJF will be ready at All Out. Roddy Strong and the Kingdom come out. Strong complains that Cole cares more about MJF's neck than his. Why Maria Kannellis isn't here is beyond me. Mike Bennett talks about their bond and runs down Chicago. Taven tells Cole to shut his mouth and accuses him of abandoning the Kingdom may years ago. He calls MJF a Melvin. Cole apologizes for making them feel less than. But Max is his best friend. Strong can't accept that. Strong is entering a tournament to get an AEW Title Shot at Grand Slam. The Kingdom walk off.


    Kris Statlander, Hikaru Shida & Dr. Britt Baker DMD vs Nyla Rose, Marina Shafir and Emi Sakura

    Emi cross bidies Shida right away and fires off elbows. Dropkick by Shida. Baker tags in and she punches away at Sakura. Sling Blade for 1 by Baker. Shafir tags in, hits an armdrag and tags in Rose. Emi shoves Shida and Statlander off the apron as we hit commercial

    We're back and Statlander tags in as does Shafir. Forearms and a kick by Kris. Face drop by the TBS Champion for 1. Emi tags in and it's a 6 way brawl. Baker accidentally kicks Shida. Rose chokeslams Baker. Action spills to the floor and Statlander splashes the opposition. Statlander hits the Wednesday Night Fever on Shafir for the pin.

    Winners: Kris Statlander, Hikaru Shida & Dr. Britt Baker DMD

    After the match:
    Ruby Soho attacks Statlander and runs off with the TBS belt.


    We hear from Shane Taylor, who meets Samoa Joe on Sunday for the ROH TV Title.

    We hear from Don Callis and Konosuke Takeshita ahead of Sunday's match with Kenny Omega

    The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn come out. There's a podium and a pink ribbon. Gunn declares that Daddy Ass is back. Max praises Chicago. We're having a ribbon cutting ceremony. Billy cuts the ribbon. Bowens welcomes us to the House of Ass. The Trios champions unveil the new pink Trios Championship belts. The belts actually scissor. They will defend the belts on Collision. We have a scissor party.

    We see highlights from teams in the battle royal to determine who meets Cole & MJF at All Out.


    AEW International Championship
    Orange Cassidy (c) vs Penta El Zero Miedo


    They go face to face. Penta with a shove and a takedown. They trade armdrags and counters. Arm twist by Cassidy, hands in the pockets and Cassidy nails an arm drag. Penta catches him mid tope and sends him into the barricade as we go to commercial.

    We're back and it's a 2 count for Cassidy. Tope by Cassidy. Side kick by the champion. Penta with a tope con hillo. Action spills back in the ring. Legdrop by Penta for 2. Roundhouse by Penta into a suplex but Cassidy counters into a Stundog into a stunner for 2.

    Cassidy to the top but gets kicked. Penta with a PK to the ribs. Back stabber by Penta for as we go back to commercial.

    We're back and a side kick by Cassidy. Sling Blade by Penta for 2.Arm wringer by Penta, Cassidy fights back with "vicious" chops. Destoryer by both men.

    Tony just yelled "what the hell are we watching?" I feel the same.

    Cassidy with a 2 count off a suplex. Penta with a kick and stomps. Kick by Cassidy. Kick by Penta. Fear Factor on the apron for 2 as OC made the rope. Stomps by Penta. Penta snaps the arm. Fear Factor for 2 by Penta. Rollup by Cassidy for the pin.

    Winner: Orange Cassidy (Retains championship)

    After the match:
    Cassidy wants a chair and a mic. He says he's tired but ready to fight Moxley at All Out. He vows to continue his reign. Moxley comes out and they go face to face
