WWE Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley will put her title on the line against Natalya at this week's Superstar Spectacle.

On Twitter, WWE confirmed that the two will face off at the September 8, event, which will mark WWE's first event in India since 2017.

WWE Superstar Spectacle won't be the first time these two face off for Ripley's championship. At WWE Night of Champions in May, Ripley womanhandled the Canadian veteran, retaining her championship in seventy seconds. The pair would face off in singles action again on the July 4, 2023, episode of Monday Night Raw, with Ripley once again getting the victory.

Here is the card thus far for WWE Superstar Spectacle:

  • Rhea Ripley (c) Vs. Natalya (WWE Women's World Championship)
  • World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins & John Cena Vs. Imperium (Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci)
  • Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Indus Sher (Sanga & Veer Mahaan)
  • Shanky, Jinder Mahal, Matt Riddle, and NXT's Bron Breakker have also been announced.

WWE Superstar Spectacle will be the second-ever show under this name, following on from an event in 2021. Unlike the event from two years ago, which was filmed from the Thunderdome, this year's Superstar Spectacle will be a live event. This Friday's event will be the first WWE event in the G. M. C. Balayogi Indoor Stadium and the first WWE event in the city of Hyderabad.
