A report has emerged suggesting that WWE Hall of Famers The Dudley Boyz have inked a legends deal with WWE.

Bubba Ray Dudley has been active inside the squared circle. However, it's been 7 years since D-Von competed in a match. He had been in the role of WWE producer for more than six years before departing. The Dudley Boyz's last match in WWE took place on the SummerSlam 2016 kick-off show when they faced the team of Sami Zayn and Neville.

The Dudley Boyz remains to be one of the most decorated tag teams of all time. A report in 2021 noted D-Von said he no longer does business with his long-time ally after parting ways with Team 3D wrestling school between two locations. This sparked rumors that the legendary duo have fallen out.

While both men set to reunite at Impact 1000, a recent report from Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated noted that The Dudley Boyz have signed legends agreements with WWE. However, the details of the agreement is not known.

Meanwhile, both Bubba and D-Von stated during the Sports Illustrated interview that The Dudleyz are the greatest tag team of their era.

“Before us, there were a lot of great teams, too. There was the Rock ‘N’ Roll Express, Terry’ Bam Bam’ Gordy and ‘Dr. Death’ Steve Williams, the Midnight Express, the Hart Foundation, the British Bulldogs, and the Road Warriors, who we idolized. That was all a different era. During the ‘Attitude Era,’ we became, hands down, the greatest tag team of our era.”

Bubba added:

“As long as there is breath in our lungs, we are still the greatest tag team on the planet today. No one else comes close.”

We will have to see how The Dudley Boyz reunion pans out at IMPACT 1000.
