A noteworthy development has taken place for NJPW fans. A new English voice is set to be heard on the promotion’s broadcasts. Walker Stewart is poised to step into the role, which will be a new era of NJPW English commentary.

This announcement comes after Kevin Kelly, the beloved voice behind NJPW's English broadcasts since more than a decade, hinted at his impending departure from the role earlier this month. Kelly, who has been a fixture in NJPW for English-speaking audiences, remains committed to the promotion for specific upcoming events. You can expect to hear his familiar voice at next month’s NJPW Destruction in Ryogoku, Wrestle Kingdom 18, and New Year’s Dash. Besides, Kelly is currently serving as the play-by-play commentator for AEW Collision, along with Jim Ryan and Nigel McGuiness.

The news of Walker Stewart's appointment as the new voice of NJPW English commentary was initially reported by Super J-Cast, a trusted source in the world of professional wrestling news. POST Wrestling’s John Pollock has also confirmed the report:
