And the career accolades and experiences for Chris Jericho continue to march along.

Jericho will be heading back to Japan for a major match in the DDT promotion. DDT announced on Monday that Jericho will face Konosuke Takeshita at the Ultimate Party 2023 event on November 12 from Ryogoku Sumo Hall.

Jericho sent DDT a message challenging Takeshita. He and Takeshita have been embroiled in a feud in AEW through Takeshita's manager, Don Callis. On this week's episode of AEW Collision, Takeshita and Sammy Guevara attacked Jericho with Callis and Kenny Omega made the save. At WrestleDream, Takeshita, Guevara, and Will Ospreay will team up to take on the team of Jericho, Omega, and Kota Ibushi

Jericho has a long history of working in Japan. He's participated in the Best of the Super Jr tournament and famously wrestled Kenny Omega inside the Tokyo Dome at Wrestle Kingdom in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Jericho had additional matches for New Japan against Tetsuya Naito and Kazuchika Okada.

Chris Jericho is a former IWGP Intercontinental Japan in New Japan and a former AEW World Champion.

Don Callis has been adding to his growing stable of AEW stars since first bringing Takeshita into the fold. Last week on AEW Grand Slam, Sammy Guevara turned on Jericho after losing to him in match and joined sides with Callis. Will Ospreay is also connected to the Callis family, but hasn't appeared as a regular member of the group. Jericho lost to Ospreay at the AEW All In event last month.
