Talks have already begun within IMPACT Wrestling over which ex-WWE Superstars to bring in, according to PCO.

Earlier this month, WWE laid off talent from both the main roster and WWE NXT, which had been expected to happen following the launch of TKO Group Holdings. These releases came mere days after over 100 employees were laid off from WWE's offices, as part of streamlining the promotion following its merger with UFC.

At the end of next month, PCO will be leaving IMPACT Wrestling once his current deal with the promotion expires. When PCO was interviewed by the Les Anti-Pods de la Lutte podcast, the IMPACT star said that higher-ups are already eyeing up three names formerly with WWE.

"Already there were names mentioned by people close to the office. The names that were circulating were (Matt) Riddle, (Dolph) Ziggler and Mustafa Ali. These are the three names that supposedly Impact would try to sign.”

If IMPACT Wrestling wants to work with any of these three men, they will have to wait until their non-compete clauses expire. For main roster talent, their 90-day clauses will expire on Friday, December 20, while talent under NXT contracts will have to wait until Monday, October 21.

Speaking about the end of his own tenure with IMPACT, PCO said the two sides came close to agreeing on terms of a new deal, one that PCO hoped would come with more money and more involvement with his character. After a period of "radio silence" PCO suspected that he would not be re-signed and has chosen to go out on his own terms.
