WWE's Chief Content Officer Triple H will be making an appearance on next week's episode of WWE SmackDown.

During this week's SmackDown, it was confirmed that the WWE Hall of Famer and 14-time World Champion will be on next week's show to make a special announcement, but there is no word on what he will have to say. Next week's show will serve as the 'season premiere' of WWE SmackDown.

Triple H has appeared a handful of times on SmackDown in 2023. In April, the King of Kings made his way to the blue brand to announce the return of the WWE draft. In June, following Roman Reigns reaching 1,000 days as WWE Universal Champion, Triple H presented the Head of the Table with the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion he continues to hold to this day.

Whatever Triple H has to say on next week's episode of WWE SmackDown, it will be part of a show that is quickly getting stacked. It has also been confirmed that Pretty Deadly will face the Brawling Brutes on the show. This will mark the in-ring return of Elton Prince, who suffered a shoulder injury earlier this year.

The October 13, episode of WWE SmackDown will also mark the return of Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Reigns hasn't appeared on the blue brand since the post-SummerSlam episode in August. That episode saw Jey Uso 'quit' SmackDown and WWE before he was brought to Raw by Cody Rhodes at WWE Payback.
