KAIRI is leaving STARDOM a winner after emerging victorious in her final match with the promotion.

In August of this year, it was reported that KAIRI (also known as Kairi Sane) would be returning to WWE in late 2023. Sane was with WWE for years but requested to be taken off of TV in 2020 so she could go back to Japan. After serving as WWE's ambassador in her home country, Sane would leave WWE entirely in 2021.

At STARDOM's Nagoya Golden Fight 2023 event, KAIRI had her farewell match, teaming with long-time tag team partner in Nanae Takahashi, and her former Threedom stablemate Mayu Iwatani. KAIRI had a pirate-themed entrance for her final match.

The trio faced off against Fukuoka Double Crazy and Saya Iida. After a pre-match sign of respect between the two teams, the action was hard-hitting and rarely slowed down. The finish would see KAIRI hit her 'Insane Elbow' on Koguma to get the victory.

After the match, KAIRI shared an emotional moment with everyone in the match and spoke about the talent in the ring and the women who make up the STARDOM roster. KAIRI would take a bow to the crowd in attendance before heading to the back.

In August, it was reported that the success of current WWE Women's Champion IYO SKY helped influence Kairi Sane's decision to return to WWE. The belief is that if she didn't return, she'd regret not taking the gamble. Sane is also confident that things will go well for her with Triple H running creative. The Game ran the creative division in WWE NXT during Sane's tenure with the gold brand, where she became NXT Women's Champion in 2018.
