New Japan Pro Wrestling is set to have its third Royal Quest event this weekend. The show will occur at the Copper Box Arena in London, England, on October 14, which will air live exclusively on RevPro On Demand.

We've known the main event will see Will Ospreay defend the IWGP United States Heavyweight title against Zack Sabre Jr., but NJPW has now revealed the entire card.

Royal Quest III will feature ten matches. In addition including the main event, will also feature IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Bullet Club War Dogs (Clark Connors & Drilla Moloney) defending against Cameron Khai & Leon Slater.

We'll also see ROH World Champion Eddie Kingston team with Hiroshi Tanahashi & Michael Oku against the United Empire (HENARE, Jeff Cobb & TJP) in a six-man tag team match.

Here is the entire card for this weekend:

  • Taiji Ishimori vs. Robbie X
  • El Desperado vs. Trent Seven
  • Yota Tsuji vs. Luke Jacobs
  • Ren Narita & Shota Umino vs. United Empire (Francesco Akira & Great-O-Khan)
  • Guerrillas Of Destiny (El Phantasmo, Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa) vs. Bullet Club War Dogs (Alex Coughlin, David Finlay & Gabe Kidd)-Six Man Tag Team Match
  • Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI & Tetsuya Naito) vs. Just 5 Guys (Douki & Sanada)
  • Eddie Kingston, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Michael Oku vs. United Empire (HENARE, Jeff Cobb & TJP)-Six Man Tag Team Match
  • Tomohiro Ishii vs. Shingo Takagi
  • (C) Bullet Club War Dogs (Clark Connors & Drilla Moloney) vs. Cameron Khai & Leon Slater-IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship Match
  • (C) Will Ospreay vs. Zack Sabre Jr.-IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship Match

The main event of Ospreay vs. ZSJ for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship was decided at NJPW Destruction In Kobe on September 24. At the event, Ospreay successfully defended the title in a hard-fought match against Yota Tsuji. Saber Jr. came to the ring to make a challenge while the champion was celebrating in the ring after his victory.

ZSJ admitted that Ospreay is having a great run, as well as he is, and that they should have a match at NJPW Royal Quest III to determine who is better. Ospreay agreed to put his title on the line and prove that he was the best wrestler out of England.

The IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion being on the line makes it somewhat predictable who will win. Sabre Jr. is already the current NJPW World Television Champion, so while it could happen, it's unlikely fans will see him defeat Ospreay.

Despite the potentially predictable main event, it should be a great match. The card overall seems like an exciting show that fans can enjoy as NJPW heads towards their big Wrestle Kingdom 18 event next year.
