WarGames Expected To Return at WWE Survivor Series (11/25)

WWE is bringing back one of the most dangerous matches in wrestling history, WarGames.

17 years after the final WarGames match in WCW, WWE brought the double-ring steel cage match to NXT in 2017. WWE introduced WarGames to the main roster last year at Survivor Series, featuring men's and women's team warfare.

On the Women's side, we saw Team Belair (Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Mia Yim, and Becky Lynch) defeat Team Damage CTRL (Bayley, Iyo Sky, Dakota Ka, Nikki Cross, and Rhea Ripley.)

In the main event, Team Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, The Usos, and Sami Zayn) defeated Team Brutes (Kevin Owens, The Brawling Brutes, and Drew McIntyre.)

WarGames is expected to return at next month's Survivor Series PLE from Chicago, according to Fightful Select.

The show is still over six weeks away, but planning is underway and it sounds like The Judgment Day will be one of the participating teams. The villainous faction has been a dominant force throughout this year, picking up championship gold across multiple brands, as well as other accolades such as Damien Priest holding the Money in the Bank briefcase.

The Judgment Day has been feuding on Raw with Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens in recent weeks, so don't be surprised if this is the direction we're headed come Survivor Series.

The 37th annual WWE Survivor Series takes place Saturday, November 25 from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
