Former WWE star Vladimir Kozlov, now known as Oleg Prudius took the fans by surprise when he arrived in IMPACT Wrestling last night.

Back in 2012, Prudius competed in a bunch of matches in Japan after he was released by WWE in 2011. He signed with WWE in 2006 and performed in the developmental territories, OVW and DSW before getting on the main roster full-time in 2008.

Notably, his prominent WWE run took place on the SmackDown brand in 2008 where he debuted and had an extended singles winning streak in a series of squash matches. He eventually got into the title picture and started feuding with Triple H and Jeff Hardy for the WWE Championship. Though he never won that title, he held the tag team titles while teaming with Santino Marella as a comedy act from December 2010 to February 2011.

On the latest edition of IMPACT Wrestling, Prudius joined forces with Dirty Dango during a match to determine the first and 20th entrants in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match at Bound for Glory on October 21.

Upon his arrival, Prudius wreaked havoc as he assaulted Champagne Singh, Eric Young, and Jake Something and assisted Dirty Dango to seal the win in a five-way match on Thursday. As a result of the match, Dango will enter the Gauntlet 20th, while Jake Something will enter the match first.

This marked his first on-screen appearance for Prudius since a cameo in March of this year. The former WWE star also served as a foreign-language commentator for the promotion in 2021.

We will have to wait and see what's next for Oleg Prudius.
