Major League Wrestling returned to pay-per-view with a special live event featuring four title matches on October 14. MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alex Kane put his title on the line against "Filthy" Tom Lawlor in the main event.

Lawlor challenged Kane on short notice after Davey Boy Smith Jr. had to pull out due to having emergency surgery on October 12. The match will also be Lawlor's first match in MLW in two years. While he hoped to win the MLW World Heavyweight Championship, Kane kept his title.

Kane has been having an impressive year so far and is coming into his match with confidence. He won the title by defeating Alex Hammerstone at MLW Never Say Never on July 8. The win over Lawlor marks his second successful title defense, as he hopes to have a long reign as champion.

Another match on the card was a dream match between MLW veteran Jacob Fatu and wrestling legend Minoru Suzuki. Both wrestlers have a hard-hitting in-ring style, which made for an exciting matchup. In the match, Suzuki was able to land a Piledriver to get the win.

MLW Slaughterhouse occurred at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. To watch the event on replay, fans must be subscribed to FITE+ on FITE TV, which costs $7.99.
