Since All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan acquired Ring of Honor last year, the biggest ROH pay-per-view events have occurred on Bleacher Report. The company has had five PPVs under Khan's leadership, with four shows on the streaming service. The previous PPV event was ROH Death Before Dishonor on July 21. Their next big live show is less than two months away, but it's been revealed that it won't stream on Bleacher Report.

ROH announced on Twitter that ROH Final Battle will air exclusively on their streaming service, Honor Club, on December 15. The upcoming event occurs at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas. A press release from ROH shared that the event will be available at no additional cost to Honor Club subscribers.

"...With FINAL BATTLE 2023 broadcasting exclusively on Honor Club, we'd like to extend this opportunity to rejoin the Ring of Honor family and experience ROH's year-end extravaganza at absolutely no extra cost to you beyond your HonorClub subscription," wrote ROH.

The ROH Final Battle airing announcement on Honor Club is a great deal for fans looking forward to watching the show. ROH's PPV usually costs $39.99 on Bleacher Report. Fans will only have to pay $9.99 for a subscription to Honor Club to watch the upcoming event.

It's unclear why ROH Final Battle won't be on Bleacher Report, which fans initially expected to happen. Khan has publicly discussed wanting a streaming deal with Warner Bros. Discovery to have AEW and ROH content on WBD's platform MAX. Although it seems AEW will at least make the move from Bleacher Report in 2024.

AEW's upcoming PPV, AEW Full Gear, is set to be on Bleacher Report for $49.99. It's speculated that the company will have PPVs next year air on MAX. However, neither Khan nor WBD has shared whether an agreement exists.

The question remains if AEW reaches a deal with WBD to stream on Max, what will be the future of ROH? The upcoming ROH Final Battle is a good move to push more subscribers to Honor Club, but it's unclear if that will be the new place for all ROH content next year. Another issue for the upcoming ROH live event would be that AEW will have to push ROH enough to get people to subscribe, as they will have to rely on ticket sales and subscriptions for profit.

Hopefully, ROH Final Battle will be a success and give opportunities for the brand next year.
