Ronda Rousey made a surprise return to the ring Thursday night in Los Angeles.

The former UFC & WWE Women’s champion had hinted at retirement earlier this month and expressed interest in a potential fight at UFC 300, her latest actions suggest that her involvement in the world of professional wrestling is far from over.

After teasing on social media that we haven’t seen the last of her, Rousey is now being advertised for another show - Wrestling Revolver Unreal on Thursday, November 16 from Los Angeles:

This announcement comes just hours after WWE moved her Superstar Profile to the Alumni section of the company website.

Rousey's unexpected appearance occurred at a Lucha VaVoom event, a lucha libre and burlesque wrestling promotion based in Los Angeles. Specifically, she attended Lucha VaVOOM Area 51 at the Mayan Theater. The twist that had fans talking was her impromptu participation in a tag team match during the show.

In this surprise showdown, Rousey teamed up with her long-time training partner, Marina Shafir, forming a formidable alliance known as the MMA Four Horsewomen. They took on the accomplished duo of Taya Valkyrie and Brian Kendrick. What ensued was a brief yet electrifying mixed tag-team match that lasted approximately five minutes.

Rousey demonstrated her wrestling prowess during the contest. She secured a victory for her team in emphatic fashion by making Kendrick submit to her signature ankle lock.

Rousey's enthusiasm for her return to wrestling was evident in her social media posts. She shared the entire match on her Instagram page and added a caption that left no room for doubt.:

“Anyone who believed we couldn't 'make magic' is an idiot.”
