A new tournament featuring some of AEW's most talented wrestlers will kick off later this month, it has been confirmed.

During this week's AEW Collision, AEW President Tony Khan announced the AEW Continental Classic, a round-robin tournament that will feature 12 AEW wrestlers. Khan didn't announce the full line-up of talent but did confirm that Bryan Danielson will be a part of the tournament.

The American Dragon admitted that he doesn't look ready, given his orbital eye injury suffered last month, but he has been wanting a tournament like this in AEW for a very long time. Danielson also reiterated Khan's comments that the Continental Classic will feature the best talent in the world.



The tournament will kick off during the November 22, 2023, episode of AEW Dynamite from Chicago, Illinois. The shows that will feature the tournament are as follows:

AEW Dynamite - 11/22 - Chicago IL
AEW Rampage/Collision - 11/25 - Pittsburgh, PA.

Week 2:
AEW Dynamite/Rampage - 11/29 - Minneapolis, MN
AEW Collision - 12/2 - Erie, PA

Week 3:
AEW Collision - 12/5 - Montreal, QC, CAN
AEW Dynamite/Rampage - 12/6 - Montreal, QC, CAN

Week 4:
AEW Dynamite/Rampage - 12/13 - Arlington, TX
AEW Collision - 12/16 - Garland, TX

Week 5:
AEW Dynamite/Rampage - 12/20 - Oklahoma City, OK
AEW Collision - 12/23 - San Antonio, TX

Week 6:
AEW Dynamite/Rampage - 12/27 - Orlando, FL

Championship Final:
AEW Worlds End - 12/30 - Long Island, NY
