AEW's Andrade El Idolo will make his Game Changer Wrestling debut next month for the first of three shows he will be a part of.

The former WWE NXT & United States Champion debuted for AEW in June of 2021. After a lengthy break, El Idolo returned to action during the premiere episode of Collision and defeated AEW World Trios Champion Buddy Matthews via submission. Andrade used the Figure Eight submission, a nod to his wife & WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair, to get the win.

On Twitter, Game Changer Wrestling announced that Andrade will be competing in three events with the company. Andrade's debut will be at the company's December 9, event in Los Angeles. From there, Andrade will compete at the January 12, show in Chicago, Illinois, as well as the January 26, event in Tampa, Florida.

Andrade El Idolo will hardly be the first AEW wrestler to make themselves known in Game Changer Wrestling. Earlier this year, Jeff Hardy appeared for the promotion and teased a future program with Nick Gage. Jon Moxley has also appeared for the promotion multiple times in the past.

GCW & AEW enjoy a friendly-enough relationship, despite being at legal odds earlier this year. In March, GCW filed to oppose the trademark for AEW's first console video game Fight Forever. The video game would be released with the name in June.
