New details have emerged on the arrest of Nick Hogan (real name Nicholas Bollea), son of legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan. The arrest occurred on a Saturday morning in Clearwater, Florida and was related to suspicion of driving under the influence.

Nick was DJing a bikini contest at his father's restaurant just hours, according to this video obtained by TMZ. Unfortunately, things went dramatically down hill from there.

Reports indicate that Nick declined to undergo sobriety testing at the time of the incident. According to RadarOnline, Nick had “carelessly zoomed past” three stationary patrol cars that were working on a separate traffic incident.

Nick was subsequently handcuffed following an encounter with a Clearwater police officer, who reportedly detected the smell of alcohol on his breath, as per the police report. The police report also stated that he "performed poorly on the field sobriety test."

The arrest occurred around 1 AM on November 18, as a group of patrol officers conducted a traffic stop in the left turn lane of the intersection. Despite the activated emergency lights, Nick failed to reduce speed in his 2021 Dodge Ram pickup truck.

An officer present at the scene measured his vehicle's speed at 51 MPH in a 40 MPH zone. The report noted that Nick exhibited "bloodshot" and "glassy" eyes and displayed signs of "impairment."

Nick was in a major accident in August 2007. He was driving under the influence when he crashed into a tree, causing severe and permanent injuries to his friend John Graziano, resulting in brain damage for Graziano.

Nick gained recognition for his appearances on the reality TV series "Hogan Knows Best," which showcased the daily lives of the Hogan family, airing from 2005 to 2007. He also made an appearance on the spin-off series "Brooke Knows Best," which aired from 2008 to 2009 on VH1. The show centered around his sister Brooke Hogan's journey into adulthood, focusing on her independence from their parents.

As for Nick’s contributions in wrestling, there aren’t really any. Nick never got into wrestling or ever had a professional match, even though it was reported in 2009 by the Wrestling Observer that he was training to become a wrestler at a wrestling school by Rikishi. It seems like nothing ever came of it.
