AEW fans were gearing up for Dynasty on Sunday night, but Wardlow had an announcement to make. He just escaped a near-catastrophic car wreck situation, and he is thankful to be okay.

Wardlow mentioned that he has faced numerous challenges recently but remains undeterred, stating that nothing can stop him. Despite being injured, he expressed gratitude for being alive and thanked everyone who reached out to show their support, appreciating their concern.

The former TNT Champion also included a photo of his banged-up car with his post. The photo displays a highway sign for Exit 240 - W 150th St, located on Interstate 71 in Cleveland, Ohio. This was a scary situation, and we're glad he was able to walk away.

Wardlow's momentum in AEW may have stalled a bit thanks to Adam Cole's situation. Although being placed as part of the Undisputed Kingdom was a good spot for Ward-Dog, the faction's leader has been taken off the road.

Cole's ongoing ankle rehab caused him to leave the road, because it was getting in the way of his recovery progress. Due to this, Cole's Devil angle hit the brakes and the faction hasn't been featured on AEW television in the significant fashion most assumed they would receive after paying off such a long-running mystery angle like unveiling The Devil's identity.

Wardlow was not booked for a match at AEW Dynasty, but he made an appearance at the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view on Sunday during the match between Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly.
