RING OF HONOR NOTES & NEWS - 14 Nov

ROH champion Bryan Danielson dropped the FIP championship to Roderick Strong over the weekend. We've got detailed live reports from the FIP events by Richard Trionfo on PWInsiderXTRA.com. There's been some talk of using the FIP title as a secondary belt of sorts within Ring of Honor.

Homicide vs. Jimmy Rave and Mark Briscoe vs. Shingo Takagi has been added to the 11/24 Long Island, New York return. The show also features ROH Tag Team champions Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli vs. Austin Aries & Roderick Strong in a No DQ bout, Samoa Joe vs. Jay Briscoe, and Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal vs. Delirious & Davey Richards, a Gauntlet match featuring Nigel McGuinness, BJ Whitmer, Jimmy Jacobs, Brent Albright, Pelle Primeau, and Jason Blade.

The 11/25 Edison, New Jersey event features Homicide & Samoa Joe vs. The Briscoes, Brent Albright vs. El Generico, Shane Hagadorn vs. Bobby Dempsey, ROH Tag Team champions Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli vs. Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal with Allison Danger, BJ Whitmer vs. Jimmy Jacobs, Austin Aries vs. Davey Richards, Nigel McGuinness vs. Jimmy Rave, Roderick Strong vs. Shingo, and Delirious vs. Jason Blade.

The ROH fan base held a poll on the ROH message board to determine the top 100 Ring of Honor bouts for the company's first 100 live events. The winning match was Samoa Joe vs. Kenta Kobashi. Looking over the list, it's pretty amazing what a body of work the company has put together in under five years. If you'd like to see the complete list, click here.

Nigel McGuiness will appear this Thursday at 9 PM Eastern on the 3 Kings Wrestling Show at www.WrestlingRadionetwork.com.

The Bruno Sammartino shoot interview, conducted by Jim Cornette, was released over the weekend by ROH.
