Default Brock Lesnar and Akebono Draw Huge crowd..

NEW JAPAN AT THE TOKYO DOME -- JANUARY 4, 2006

CROWD ATTENDANCE WAS ANNOUNCED AS 43,000. HERE ARE SOME OF THE MATCHES:

IWGP HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION BROCK LESNAR USED HIS "F5" TO PIN CHALLENGER SHINSUKE NAKAMURA. (Note: Lesnar had former Olympic and AWA star Brad Rheingans in his corner ... Referee for the match was Tiger Hattori).

HIROYOSHI TENZAN & MASAHIRO CHONO RETAINED THE IWGP TAG TEAM BELTS DEFEATING SHIRO KOSHINKA & TAKAO OMORI (Note: Chono pinned Koshinaka).

GIANT BERNARD (AKA A-TRAIN) BEAT MANABU NAKANISHI. GIANT WILL PROBABLY GET THE NEXT SHOT AT LESNAR.

    KATSUYORI SHIBATA PINNED HIROSHI TANAHASHI.

AKEBONO MADE HIS NEW JAPAN DEBUT TEAMING WITH YUTAKA YOSHIE TO BEAT HIRO SAITO AND BLACK STONG MACHINE.

It is good to see that brock is turning into a major star in Japan and that Akebono and him drew a big crowd for his first succsessfull IPGW title defence in the tokoyo Dome.

I heard the Lesnar match was a decent one, so it'll be interesting to hopefully see this A.S.A.P. Can't believe that A-Train's going to get the next shot at Lesnar, shouldn't be too hard for Lesnar to beat nonetheless
