Before this weeks iMPACT! officailly gets underway, we are shown a video shot after last week's show where Abyss goes after the ambulance that Sting was in; only to open the door and find only Sting's bat.

Jeremy Borash is backstage at Jim Cornette's office where an "old" Chris Sabin comes up to JB saying he is Jerry Lynn. Jeremy asks Sabin what he is doing and says "Huh? You crazy kids with your Pac-Man video games, stickers and balloons! Back in my day we wrestled in a two sided ring made out of sheep skin and cow testicles."

The X-Division Five Corner Showcase gets under way where it is Jay Lethal vs. Alex Shelley vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Austin Starr vs. Jerry Lynn. As the match progresses Sabin comes to ringside, still mocking Jerry Lynn. After a series of baseball slides, planchas, and suicide dives from the competitors, Lynn and Starr are left in the ring. Sabin then gets on the apron and shows that he is wearing an adult diaper and distracts Jerry Lynn. Austin Starr tries to take advantage, but hits Sabin by mistake. Lynn then goes for his "Cradle Piledriver", but Sabin grabs his leg and helps Starr get the win. After the match, Shelley, Starr, and Sabin beat down the X-Division Pioneer until Senshi chases the three away.

Another Paparazzi Productions video is then aired as we see LAX enter a Italian restaraunt looking for someone by the name of Nick. They find him and proceed to attack him with everything they can find in the kitchen area; including sticking his head into the stove. We later find out that this Nick was Brother Ray's Uncle.

In the ring, Samoa Joe claims that Tomko is babysitting Cage's consultant, but it is NOT him. He says that the only business he has with Christian Cage is to figure out how much time he is going to spend kicking his ass. Cage then shows up on the big screen and says that only they know the truth and that he is VERY confident about retaining his title at Against All Odds.

Jeremy Borash is still outside Cornette's office as James Storm walks by. Storm says that he already beat Petey Williams, but he accepted the match so Ms. Tennesse could get her hands on Gail Kim. Eric Young then stumbled by and asked Storm if he told anyone about what happened last week. Storm said its all over the world and to "go brand that steer".

Our next match is Robert Roode taking on Petey Williams. Ms Brooks tried to interfere in the match, yet Gail Kim was able to stop her. As the referee was trying to break the two women apart James Storm entered the ring and superkicked Petey Williams and helped Roode get the three count. Ms. Brooks and Ms. Tennesse then attacked Gail. Eric Young runs down and helps her out. He had Ms. Brooks in his grasp and ready to swing until Robert Roode grabbed her out of the ring. He then shoved Ms. Brooks into the guardrail. Eric Young didn't like this and attacked Roode from behind and extended his arm to Ms. Brooks. She obliged and Robert Roode could only smile as it seemed things were going just as planned for Robert Roode Inc.

In Jim Cornette's Office Christy Hemme demanded a public apology from Kip James or she wanted him terminated. Kip knew he wouldn't be fired and told her her apology was "right here" and gave Hemme another crotch chop. Cornette then told Hemme that she would get her wish and be able to wrestle at Against All Odds, but her opponent is to be determined.

James Mitchell then comes down to the ring where the Prison Yard Match is set up and tells Sting to accept the match or he will press assault charges on him. Sting is then shown in the rafters wearing one of Abyss' masks.

A video is then shown of Lance Hoyt. He says that he respects AJ Pierzynski and Dale Torborg and the sport they come from, but they have no idea what they've done. Hoyt says that they have disrespected him and the TNA fans. He then told the two to step into his ring and do what he does.

JB is in the back once again with Brother Devon. Devon told LAX "You disrespect our family and you will have hell to pay. Next week, Team 3D will teach you some respect."

It was now time for the main event as AJ Styles squared off against his longtime rival, Samoa Joe. The two were fighting back and forth until Joe launched AJ over the top rope and onto the floor. AJ tried to tell the referee that his knee was injured, but Andrew Thomas didn't fall for it. Rhino then came from the back and threw AJ back into the ring. Andrew Thomas had no choice but to call the match a no contest after Joe and Rhino both got a few punches in on AJ. Before we could go to commercial, Joe took a chair and placed it inside the ring and said " I came here tonight to clarify my postion, and unitl Christian faces me man to man -- I'm not leaving!"

Back from the break and Kurt Angle is in the ring. He tells Joe "If you're going to screw me, why wait till the PPV? You're nothing but a LIAR!" Joe takes offense and punches Angle. Cage then hits Angle with a chair and extends his hand to Joe. Joe quickly flips Cage off and attacks the NWA champion. AJ Styles then jumps into the mix as he hits Joe with a chair and he and Cage beat down Samoa Joe. The two stand arms raised as the show goes off the air.
