1970 - Dale Lewis defeats Bob Orton to win the NWA Southern Heavyweight Title in Jacksonville, Florida.

1987 - Day Two of the second Jim Crockett Sr. Memorial Cup took place in Baltimore, Maryland at the Baltimore Arena, drawing 13,000 fans. Here are the results:
    Quarterfinals:
    - Lex Luger & Tully Blanchard defeated Brad & Bob Armstrong.

    Semifinals:
    - Lex Luger & Tully Blanchard defeated Giant Baba & Isao Takagi.
    - Dusty Rhodes & Nikita Koloff defeated The Midnight Express.
    Finals:
    - Dusty Rhodes & Nikita Koloff defeated Tully Blanchard & Lex Luger when Rhodes hit a top rope flying bodypress on Blanchard as he was preparing to piledrive Koloff to win the tournament. Prior to the match, Magnum T.A. was introduced to the crowd and walked to ringside. It was Magnum's first public appearance since the October 14, 1986 car accident that ended his career.
    Non-tournament match:
NWA World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair defeated Barry Windham.

1993 - WWF held their "UK Rampage" Pay-per-view at the Sheffield Arena in England. Here are the results:
    - Headshrinker Fatu defeated Brian Knobbs.
    - Doink The Clown defeated Kamala.
    - Curt Hennig defeated Headshrinker Samu.
    - Bob Backlund defeated Damian Demento.
    - Typhoon defeated The Brooklyn Brawler.
    - Crush defeated Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels via countout.
    - Lex Luger defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan via DQ.

1995 - The Rock N' Roll Express defeat Dick Murdoch & Randy Rhodes in a tournament final for the NWA World Tag Team Title, which had been vacated two years earlier following WCW withdrawing from the NWA. The belts would be vacated again a few months later.

1997 - Vader was detained in Kuwait for attacking the host of "Good Morning Kuwait", Bassam Al Otham, during an appearance with the Undertaker. Bassam asked if wrestling was fake before Vader shoved him. Because of a national holiday, Vader had to spend a week under house arrest (in a beautiful resort hotel) before he could appear in court. Vader insisted that the host knew he was going to be shoving him around in advance, and that it was all planned. Vader was given a $200 fine. Bassam later sued WWF for showing footage of the incident on television. That suit was settled out of court.

1999 - WCW's Spring Stampede in Tacoma, Washington at the Tacoma Dome, drawing 17,690. Here are the results from the show:
    - Juventud Guerrera defeated Blitzkrieg with a top rope Juvi Driver.
    - Bam Bam Bigelow defeated Hardcore Hak (Sandman) with Greeting From Asbury Park through a table.
    - Scotty Riggs defeated Mikey Whipwreck with a clothesline.
    - Konnan defeated Disco Inferno with a stunner.
    - WCW Cruiserweight Champion Rey Mysterio Jr. defeated Billy Kidman with a top rope rana.
    - Chris Benoit & Dean Malenko defeated Saturn & Raven when Malenko pinned Raven after a Benoit top rope headbutt.
    - Scott Steiner defeated Booker T in the finals for a tournament for the vacant U.S. Title by hitting him with a foreign object.
    - Bill Goldberg defeated Kevin Nash with a spear and jackhammer, despite interference from Lex Luger.
    - Diamond Dallas Page pinned Ric Flair in a four way match with Hulk Hogan and Sting to win the WCW World Heavyweight Title. Hogan had been taken to the back, injured, halfway through the match, making it a three way. When Flair refused to break a figure four after Sting had made the ropes, special referee Randy Savage hit a top rope elbow on Flair. Page hit a Diamond Cutter on Flair for the win.

2000 - During a Smackdown taping in Tampa, Florida, Perry Saturn defeats Crash Holly for the WWF Hardcore Title, only to lose it to Tazz (due to the "24/7 rule") who then lost it back to Crash.

2001- Extreme Championship Wrestling declares bankruptcy, putting the final nail in the coffin of the company. At this point, it really was not much of a surprise, as there had not been any live ECW events since January, there was no longer a television show being produced, and Paul Heyman was working as a color commentator for the WWF.

2005 - During an edition of Raw from Moline, Illinois, former Women's Champion Molly Holly wrestles her last match for the company, teaming with Trish Stratus to lose to Victoria & Christy Hemme when Christy pinned Molly with a rollup after Molly accidentally knocked Trish off the apron.
