When WrestleMania was over, Vince McMahon pitched Donald Trump something for Backlash to keep the feud going, but he turned them down.
With that being said, over WrestleMania weekend, Trump got excited for the event and was game for a little fun. The two big Trump spots on the show, a running clothesline to McMahon just before the finish and the messed up stunner he took from Austin were decided on the day of the show. They ran those spots by him and he okayed them.
