# While on the European tour, Palmer Canon was drinking at a bar with JBL, Chris Benoit and Dave Finlay. Canon was starting to get ribbed, and he got upset. Canon then confronted JBL about it, and before a physical confrontation nearly took place, he decided to quit. He then flew himself home after he lost to Funaki in a match on April 19 in Bologna, Italy. Within WWE, JBL is being made out to be the bad guy because of his reputation of being a hard ribber, however, Palmer Canon may have overreacted to the incident.

I am glad Canon is gone. I hated him. Plus it can be sad if he lost to Funaki.
