After nearly a week of intensive negotiations, PWU General Manager John House and XFC Founder Tod Gordon are ready to announce a MAJOR change to The Crazy 8 lineup. House released the following statement today: "First off, I want to say that in my short time as PWU General Manager I have tried to see all of the possibilities available to me before making any decision. Homicide has a legitimate claim to the PWU Heavyweight Championship and has earned his shot to wrestle for the PWU Title, that much is certain. However, it is my final decision that Homicide will NOT be wrestling for the PWU title on May 20th at The Crazy 8. Homicide will be given first shot to regain the title at either our June or July event(schedule permitting). This event will now officially kick off the PWU/XLAW working relationship in the United States. That being said, on May 20th the NEW main event for the PWU Heavyweight Title will see Trent Acid defend against the Ultimo Dragon." Special Note: This will be the FIRST TIME EVER for Ultimo Dragon in the New Alhambra/ECW Arena, and press from around the world will be on hand to cover this, the biggest event in Pro Wrestling Unplugged's history. Ultimo Dragon has also promised to be a part of a very special meet and greet on May 20th for the fans in attendance.
