Obviously as a Brit I'd love to see a British world champion, yet there are very few British wrestlers around.
I don't believe that there has been one yet, so I am going to ask - Are we ever going to see a British world champion.
Obviously there was always a lot of hope for the British Bulldog to have a run, but unfortunately due to circumstance and his ability (or lack of) for cutting promo's resulted in this not happening. Elsewhere we have seen William Regal hold numerous mid card belts, but never a world title, Finlay got a shot but is probably about 10/15 years too late for a world title run.
I think the most obvious future one is Harry Smith, I expect him to be in WWE soon enough and from what I have heard he is something special and with the name and background, would get a very good headstart.
