TNA's New Authority Figure Revealed

Dave Scherer reports that Jim Cornette has agreed to terms with TNA Wrestling and is set to become the new "authority figure".

Cornette has always been able to cut great promos and can sell storylines. This is a great asset to TNA.

Cornette was last seen writing OVW TV but was released after a student from OVW claimed Cornette verbally and physically abused him.

Seriously though, really don't like this guy. I don't like his booking, his voice, or the way he treats people. I know a lot of people like him for what he did in OVW, but all of that success came mainly because he had more than a little support from WWE. He may be able to help TNA though. He is a familiar face to some non TNA fans, and he is respected around the IWC and in the pro wrestling industry, but I personally don't like him.
