Despite many thinking so, the infamous Joey Styles "anti-sports entertainment" promo on RAW last week was not the mental workings of Paul Heyman. In fact, no one wrote the promo, Styles was simply told by Vince McMahon directly to "go for the juglar" before going out to talk his stuff.
The reason WWE edited the Joey Styles promo so heavily on their website and whenever it was replayed on television, was to give the feeling that it was a live shoot on RAW. Taking out all of the critical things said by Styles is supposed to give the impression that he went overboard.
