Bryan Danielson needed three staples to close the gash in his head suffered hardway from a series of stiff running headbutts he and Nigel McGuinNess exchanged during the closing moments of their excellent match last night in Philadelphia. Danielson isn't expected to miss any ring time. The guy is a true warrior. The match will air as part of ROH's second PPV in September.

ROH taped the Danielson vs. Nigel PPV match last night as a way to give back to the Philadelphia audience for helping to put them on the map and as a surprise for the live crowd. The remainder of the PPV will tape 6/23 in Chicago Ridge, Illinois. ROH actually only opened the bleachers on one side of the building in order to ensure that the venue would look packed on television when the match airs. The promotion returns to Philadelphia on 8/11 with ROH champion Takeshi Morishima vs. Brent Albright already announced.

Jimmy Rave suffered a sprained back last night, but isn't expected to miss any ring time.

ROH was ecstatic with their new venue in Roxbury, MA, which drew in the 400 range but appeared to be mostly new fans. I was told by a number of people it was easily the best and most comfortable venue the company has ever run in that market. ROH returns on 8/10 and intends to use the new venue as their base for rebuilding the Boston market, which has suffered from the company bouncing from venue to venue over the years.

ROH's next live events will be 6/22 in Dayton, Ohio and 6/23 for the PPV taping in Chicago Ridge.

Delirious will debut for Action Zone Wrestling in Hawaii this October.

Sounds like that show was pretty good and competitive. At least they didn't get hurt real bad.
