Scottish singer Rod Stewart has married model girlfriend Penny Lancaster on the Italian Riviera.
The pair were pictured waving from a boat taking them back to their luxury yacht following the ceremony just outside the resort of Portofino.
Stewart and Lancaster, who have a son together, were wed during a private ceremony attended by a small gathering of family and friends.
"It was just a family thing," one of Stewart's bodyguards told Reuters.

The ceremony took place in a 17th Century villa at Santa Margherita Ligura.
Stewart, 62, best known for his hits Do You Think I'm Sexy? and Maggie May, was previously married to models Alana Hamilton and Rachel Hunter, and has seven children in total.
Essex-born Lancaster, 36, gave birth to their son Alastair in November 2005.
