Scott Steiner is expected to remain in the Intensive Care Unit at a hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico for a few more days. He awoke from surgery on 6/6 and was in good spirits.
It was a very serious operation and he needs to be monitered in the event of an infection. Steiner's wife and Jeremy Borash are both staying with him in Puerto Rico until he is allowed to fly home. However, there is no date as to when he will be able to fly home. Borash obviously flew out to attend the PPV in Nashville last night and will need to be at the iMPACT! tapings on Tuesday so it looks like he won't be headed back.
As far as a return to the ring is concerned, it's going to be a while. He will likely be out of action for at least a few months. Early estimates are pegging him at missing six months at the most.
Six months that's crazy. I guess that means he will miss TNA's Bound For Glory PPV..
