A guy walks into a fish n chip store in Australia and says to the guy behind the counter
'Can I get a peice of fush and $2 chups please' the guy looked at him and replied
'Sure, hey mate you a Kiwi?'
'Yea, how'd you guess?'
"Easy its ya accent' The Kiwi sighed got his food and left.
Sick and tired of being pulled up for being a Kiwi he decides to go get speach lessons to learn how to speak like an Australian. After 6 months of having lessons twice a week he decides he must have the Aussie accent pretty set. So he walks into a store smiles and carefully says to the guy behind the counter,
'G'day mate, can I get a peice of Fish and $2 Chips thanks' The guy looks him up and down before saying.
'You a Kiwi mate?' The Kiwi is in shock,
'Yea, how'd you guess? Its my accent isn't it? I've tried everything to get rid of it but I guess I can't' The shop assistant smiles and replies,
"Nah mate this is a hardware Store"
