HE'S busy saving the world and getting the girl in Mission Impossible 3 and now Tom Cruise is planning an even more action-packed movie ride next time round.
Tom, whose fiancee Katie Holmes gave birth to their daughter Suri a few weeks ago, wants to play the ultimate action star.
The actor is keen on turning into a superhero for his next film role, expressing an interest in Iron Man.
If Tom takes the role he would play a billionaire businessman who transforms into a superhero by donning a super-powered suit.
And www.PageSix.com reports that Cruise, 43, is even keener now that US funnyman Jon Favreau is on board to direct the flick.
