Chris Benoit’s doctor, Dr. Phil Astin has been bonded out of jail after posting a $125,000 bond. Dr. Astin has been released to house arrest and will be wearing a monitoring device to track his whereabouts.
Dr. Phil Astin was indicted on 7 counts on Monday related to allegedly improperly prescribing prescriptions to unnamed patients. Apparently there are no indictments directly tied to the Benoit Family Tragedy, however other charges may be forthcoming.
