As previously reported, Chris Benoit was becoming more paranoid about being followed, getting a pay cut, and losing his job, although the general belief is that Benoit had a job for life in World Wrestling Entertainment, even after he finished wrestling.
Due to Chris Benoit’s paranoia, it resulted in him increasing and mixing steroids, pain killers, anti-depressants, and high blood pressure medication. Dr. Phil Astin had prescribed him Zoloft on Friday, although it takes several weeks to start making any effect.
Chris Benoit saw potential in Tough Enough winner Daniel Puder at one point and offered to make him his personal protégé. However Benoit found out that due to his $250,000 per contract, the WWE is going to release him.
The out of context “I love you” text message which Chris Benoit sent was most likely sent to either Chavo Guerrero or Dean Malenko.
